We had a very relaxing 5 days here and 3 days in the sister hotel Sunset Park.

We were looking for something away from the crowds of Pattaya. The Sunset Village beach resort is in a great location, very quiet and peaceful, right on the beach. Exactly what we were looking for. Food was great and reasonably priced. Staff were very polite and friendly. If in this area again I would come back to Sunset Village.

Perfect place to relax and chill out….

It’s location beside a beautiful private beach and having a beach hut only a few feet from the sea.

Choices of food was limited, no English books in the library, only German and Russian.

Secluded beach side sea views

Secluded, well away from the hustle bustle, sea views, sunset views, characterful room. Staff were friendly. Breakfast had decent choice. Pool was also next to the sea, great view. Toilet was outside, a first for me! My family had either their toilet of shower outside.

For me the bed was a little too hard. Noise, the flip side was that the sea wind and waves and wooden hut means not much in terms noise insulation. Trade off from unlimited sea view. Similarly, as the secluded location is great, it needed booked transport to head out to the city, fair enough. It won't be the cheapest stay as meal prices reflected higher end, but not overly so.

bit rustic and unfortunately the beach was full of litter, they need to either employ someone to keep the beach clean each day or send Greta down here

Good location, poor room condition and bad breakfast.

The location is great. It located at the very frontal area of the beach and has very large access to Bang-Sarae beach. The facility around the resort is great - few cafes and amusement park. The resort is situated near the Sukhumvit road, so that it is easy to access to the other places.

The room is very old - less maintenance. The room is much over-priced. The breakfast is very poor in my opinion because I paid equally to few hotels next to this, but incomparable. One of my friend has an air-con broken down at midnight and the light bulb was fault.

Great value bungalow style

We really enjoyed our stay on this private beach resort. Usually you have to go to the south of Thailand for this kind of bungalow stay. Sunset Beach Resort is only 15 minutes outside of Pattaya, close to Nongnuch garden which is the main attraction in the area.

The property is a bit old.

Relaxing, peaceful resort

I like the view. A sea is just in front of the room. It's a very relaxing place. Breakfast is delicious. The room is clean and cozy. Some furnitures look a bit old but working well.

The shower water temperature is not so stable.

Excelelnt and relaxation. Tropical paradise in a modest form.

The bungalow and the restaurant area are perfect for our need.

The steps down to the sea (not beach) should have hand rail to make it easier to go down.

I'm not sure that it's worth for the money.

The cabin was old. Some furnitures were too old. There were ants all around even at the bed. The amenities in the toilet were quite poor quality. It was too expensive for the quality of the hotel.

I recommended that "Sea Terrace Restaurant"!

I recommended that "Sea Terrace Restaurant"! Reasonable prices, great Thai foods with friendly staff, and the Philippine band.

It's my second stay in The Sunset Village, but so disappointed that there's no sunset from the north area of the beach front room (Beach Superior Room #201, #202, #203, the north side of the restaurant, next to the meeting room), and this area was not able to swim because of too much stones and rubbishes, also mosquito around the room. It would be better to reserve the south area of Beach Superior Room (#207, #208, #209, #216, #217, #218, #220, #221, or #223, #224, #225), if the room rate was the same. Hope to the improvement of this unfair room rates for the future.
